Combating Child Hunger

Nourishing Meals

When children lack consistent access to nutritious food, it impacts their ability to learn, grow, and thrive. At CoreGiving, we believe getting enough food is the first step toward helping kids reach their full potential. That’s why our Leadership Partners fully fund our operating expenses, ensuring that every additional dollar raised goes directly to fighting hunger.

Through our 100% pass-through model, our hunger-relief partners utilize our grants to support children and their families through after-school meal programs, weekend meal bags, in-school and mobile pantries, summer meal programs, and food distributions through partner agencies.

Coregiving Day

CoreGiving Day brings together employees from Blackstone and numerous portfolio companies to combat hunger and strengthen local communities. Since its launch in 2021 with just over 1,000 volunteers supporting 24 hunger-relief organizations in 19 U.S. cities, the event has grown tremendously.

In October 2024, the fourth annual CoreGiving Day united over 3,000 volunteers who partnered with organizations across 80+ cities in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Their collective efforts enabled over one million meals for neighbors in need, demonstrating the powerful impact of working together to fight hunger.
